Building Africa's Blood Infrastructure for the Next Generation of Medicine

CrimsonWings is positioning Nigeria not just to distribute blood — but to own the upstream supply chain of life-saving biologics. We are building Africa's most advanced automated blood processing and logistics infrastructure.

Our operations are powered by Nucleic Acid Testing (NAT) viral screening systems, walk-in cold rooms, and ultra-low temperature freezers — ensuring the highest standards of blood safety and quality.

We combine this with a technology-driven logistics network to ensure that life-saving blood reaches hospitals quickly, reliably, and in full regulatory compliance.

CRISIS

Lives Are Being Lost. Every Day.

Nigeria faces a critical shortage of safe, readily available blood — compounded by systemic failures in testing, storage, and delivery infrastructure.

01
78%of blood lacks NAT screening

Unsafe Blood Supply

A significant portion of transfused blood in Nigeria lacks rigorous NAT-level viral screening, exposing patients to HIV, Hepatitis B, C, and other bloodborne infections.

02
40%of collected units wasted

Inadequate Storage

Most facilities lack walk-in cold rooms and ultra-low temperature freezers, leading to massive wastage and constant critical shortages at point of need.

03
4–8hrsaverage delivery time

Life-Threatening Delays

Traditional delivery systems average 4–8 hours per blood request. In trauma, obstetric emergencies, and surgery, every minute of delay increases mortality risk.

04
Zerointegrated delivery systems

Fragmented Logistics

No integrated system connects blood banks, hospitals, and donors. Manual coordination creates dangerous gaps in the supply chain from collection to transfusion.

Investor & Partnership Opportunity

Be Part of Nigeria’s Healthcare Revolution

CrimsonWings is open to strategic partnerships, institutional investment, and government collaboration. We have the infrastructure plan, clinical expertise, and technology.

Questions & Answers

CrimsonWings is an end-to-end blood supply infrastructure platform. Unlike traditional blood banks that only collect and store, we combine NAT-level viral screening, ultra-scale cold storage, a proprietary digital operating system, and triphasic logistics including drone delivery — all under one unified platform.

Nucleic Acid Testing (NAT) detects viral RNA/DNA directly in the blood sample, closing the 'window period' where donors test negative on conventional screens but are already infectious. NAT can detect HIV up to 11 days earlier and Hepatitis C up to 59 days earlier than standard antibody tests — making it the gold standard for blood safety.

Our target for urban emergency delivery within Lagos is under 60 minutes from request confirmation to hospital arrival. For standard scheduled deliveries, we operate on a planned logistics schedule. Emergency requests trigger immediate drone dispatch from the nearest hub.

We are building a network targeting 181+ hospitals across Ogun State, including public teaching hospitals, general hospitals, and private specialist facilities. Hospitals integrate with our OS platform to place real-time blood requests, track delivery status, and manage their blood inventory.

Yes. CrimsonWings is designed for Public-Private Partnership (PPP) alignment with the Ogun State Ministry of Health and the National Blood Transfusion Service (NBTS). We operate within the regulatory framework of NAFDAC and relevant WHO guidelines.

We welcome strategic partnerships from institutional investors, development finance institutions (DFIs), international health organizations, and government bodies. Please reach out via investorrelations@crimsonwingsbiologics.com or use the contact form on this page.
